When is the deadline for RSVP?

We have set the deadline for the RSVPs three months prior to the wedding date, on March 1st, 2026. This is early as our vendors need the actual number months prior to the wedding as well.

How is the transport to and from the venue?

Tuscany is best to be explored by renting a car. We understand that it might be tricky with the ZTLs (Limited traffic zone). ZTL signs are marked with an open red circle on a white background with words-- 'Zona Traffico Limitato'. These are often common in busier Italian city centres like Rome, Florence and Siena. If your accommodation is inside a ZTL, please contact your hotel to ask about parking spaces and regulations. Other option for transport: pre-booking transport pick up, which we imagine might be more expensive unless you group yourselves into 4-6 to divide the costs. If you decide to pre-book transport, might we suggest to have you pick up in a nearby city nearer Monticchiello such as Siena, Florence or Assisi.

Any public transport in Tuscany?

There are only a few cities that are serviced with trains in the province of Siena. Nearest to Monticchielo is Siena city centre where you can have a direct train from Florence while from Rome there is a direct train to Chiusi. Siena city centre is 1 hr away drive from Monticchielo while Chiusi is 41 min drive away.

Dress code for the wedding day?

We encourage everyone to wear formal or semi-formal attire with an outdoorsy, spring-summer feel. Maxi/midi, flowy dresses for ladies and linen shirts/suits for the men or light spring fabrics are perfect. Since it is late spring/ early summer, day and night weather might be different, so make sure to keep an eye out for the forecast to stay comfortable.

Are kids welcome at the wedding?
