3. Pisa Airport (198 km- 2hr 23 min)

4. Leonardo da Vinci Airport Rome (209 km- 2hr 22 min)

Train

There are only a few cities that are serviced with trains in the province of Siena. Nearest to Monticchielo is Siena city centre where you can have a direct train from Florence while from Rome there is a direct train to Chiusi. Siena city centre is 1 hr away drive from Monticchielo while Chiusi is 41 min drive away.

Getting around

Tuscany is best to be explored by car since public transportation are sparse and the best part about Tuscany are its country roads. We recommend renting a car from either the airport or train station closest to the venue or where you will be staying.

Other option for transportation: pre-booking transport pick up, which we imagine might be more expensive unless you group yourselves into 4-6 to divide the costs. If you decide to pre-book transport, might we suggest to have you pick up in a nearby city nearer Monticchiello such as Siena, Florence or Assisi.
